The Grammy Awards‘s fashion this year was just … well… just blaa!!! The only one who I thought out did her self (which is really hard to do!) was Rihanna!…She was the ultimate Lady In Red!!!
She looked stunning and sophisticated in an haute couture gown by Azzedine Alaia. I loved the criss-cross detail in the front that continued at the back… And loved the fact that she kept her jewlery to a minimal…. Her hair and make up looked impeccable …. loved the whole look!
Marion Cotillard looked stunning on the red carpet in a blue and white Dior Haute Couture silk gown at this year’s Screen Actors Guild Awards. I love how the central ruffle of the bottom part of the gown ended just high enough so that we could catch a glimpse of her classic black pumps. Her make-up and sleek hair style complemented her sophisticated look…. This is french style at its best… J’adore!
Michelle Obama Has never looked better …. I think that the new hair style is the main reason and made all the difference! It sort of softened her face and made her look young and feminine …. love it on her
I also loved her fashion choices for Inaugural celebrations …. The cuts of both outfits were exactly right for her shape…They made her athletic figure look more feminine …. She looked so chic and modern… and ready for what ever the next 4 years will bring!!!
Michelle chose a Black and Navy (necktie inspired) checkered coat by Thom Browne, a JCrew belt, Reed Krakoff boots. The look was fished off with a pop of purple JCrew gloves (that are already sold out on line!!!).
For the Inaugural Ball Michelle chose Jason Wu again … The cut was perfect on her… and the colour made her look so radiant.
The Wall Street Journal did a fun comparison between Michelle’s fashion choices in the last Inauguration in 2009 and this years one!… click here to see it.
NewYork based photographer Tricia Messeroux takes the cutest pictures of kids…. Her style or should I say speciality lies in taking pictures of kids dressed as celebrities!!!…. This year she recreated shots from the Golden Globes red carpet…. Check out her web site Toddle Wood for more cute pictures… But not before checking out my favorite pictures from the Golden Globes!!!
Taylor Swift and mini me in a Donna Karan Atelier gown
George Clooney and Stacy Keibler in Armani
Anne Hathaway in Chanel
Last but not least Lucy Liu in a Carolina Herrera gown… This one is my favorite … I love the mini me version of Lucy and think that she is just adorable… What about you? Who do you think looks better… the celebrities or the kids?
I love home makeover shows, and have been lately addicted to Million Dollar Closets …. I love how Lisa Adams organizes her clients closets …. I couldn’t find another episode on the net so I’m sharing this one with you even though there were nicer ones!!!
This isn’t a new pair! In fact it isn’t a pair that anyone would want to wear or should I say is able to wear!!!… but it somehow reminded me of the Nutcracker and just seemed fitting for the Holiday season
Sarah Jessica Parker unveiled the Barneys New York holiday windows on Wednesday. The department store teamed up with Disney for their holiday campaign, called “Electric Holiday.”
Only SJP can wear Minnie Mouse ears and look this chic!!! Her black embellished LBD and lace Minnie Mouse ears were designed by L’Wren Scott…and her heels were by Manolo Blahník.
At the event SJP revealed a short animated film that stars Minnie Mouse who window-shops for a Lanvin dress, daydreams her way to Paris Fashion Week and meets fashion VIPs like Steven Meisel, Anna Dello Russo, Carine Roitfeld, Emmanuelle Alt and more.
I couldn’t upload the video for some reason but try to watch it… its really cute
